  Very nice staff and great service. I was there at an off time on Weds before 5 PM. I ordered the chicken and rib combo.  Was very tasty and I liked their assortment of bbq sauces. Ribs and chicken were a bit dry, but definitely smoked and tasted good.

  I love the food here but the service is absolute shit. We went for lunch today and sat for 15 minutes and couldn't even get a drink. Off to Blue Pig, won't be back to rib city.

  I came here last year and was impressed enough to come back multiple nights. So i was excited to come in tonight.
  
  Pull up and there are only 4 cars in the parking lot. The hostess seats me and tell me the waitress will get my drink order in a bit.
  
  I wait. I wait. I wait more. There are only three tables and she brings them all food. Never even looks at me. I am getting pissed.
  
  I wait more. No waitress. No hostess. No one. They are standing in the back waiting on orders instead of taking a second to get a drink order and acknowledge a new guest.
  
  I decided to give her one more chance before i walk out. She brings the third table more food and doesnt do much as glance at me.
  
  ENOUGH.
  
  I leave. Without the waitress even acknowledging my existence. This is not how you keep repeat customers. No matter how the food tastes.
  
  Chick fil a got my money this night.

  We stopped by here on our way home from Nashville to Knoxville last weekend and had the best BBQ.  The waitress was great and the food was amazing!  My mom and me like to share meals so we can try different things.  She got the rib tips with coleslaw and fries and I got the pulled pork with baked beans and Mac & cheese, both came with garlic bread.  The rib tips, pulled pork, fries, coleslaw, and baked beans were really good.  The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Mac, it was kind of dry and didn't have much flavor which was disappointing because I love Mac. We also got the fried pickles appetizer and they were good and had a bit of a kick to them.
  
  Overall it was really good food and we will be back.  The prices were reasonable for what you get.  We had the lunch specials, so with drinks, an appetizer, and tip our total for 2 was only $34 and we had leftovers to enjoy once we got home.

  Good place for lunch. Close to I-40.
  
  I visited Rib City several times in recent months. Good service and a good lunch. The pork is not overcooked or too dry. Good selection of sides and vegetables. Their sweet tea is better than most restaurants.
